A simple yet sophisticated, black dress that the great Edith Piaf, France's iconic chanteuse, could have worn.  The sunburst tucks on the front bodice create a flattering balance between the fitted top and flared skirt.  The white, embroidered appliqué on the turned down collar adds some whimsy to the sober silhouette.
